Life is in the Air - Spring Time

Spring time is a time for joy for there's beauty all around and life is in the air.'
"Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these." Luke 12:27.

Why did not our heavenly Father carpet the earth with brown or gray? He chose the color that was most restful, the most acceptable to the senses. How it cheers the heart and refreshes the weary spirit to look upon the earth, clad in its garments of living green!... Every spire of grass, every opening bud and blooming flower, is a token of God’s love, and should teach us a lesson of faith and trust in Him.*
I’ve started to write this blog 6 years ago with one purpose. To write a thankful note each day!
Looking back I'm thankful that I started for one thing is for sure:"We have nothing to fear for the future unless we forget how the Lord has led us in time past"(Ellen White)

This week we had one day of sun! Tuesday was an amazing, beautiful day and thats the day I took all those pictures! As I was walking with the children I took the time to stop and listen to the melody of the birds!! What a peaceful song!! I looked up and I saw some of the birds carrying pieces of sticks to build their nests!! A feeling of contentment filled my heart to compare these birds with us!! So neat and organized they prepare everything for their home! Always cheerful they come and go in search of the perfect place to build their nests!

Logan and his beautiful puppy girl Sky. Logan is using the magnifying glass to search for insects.

Larissa is such a good and cheerful big sister! Always helping little brother and taking him for a nice ride on her bike.
And here goes Larissa and Lance again, this time wet from the river

There is a lesson in the sunbeam, and in the various objects of nature that God has presented to our view. The green fields, the lofty trees, the buds and flowers, the passing cloud, the falling rain, the babbling brook, the sun, moon, and stars in the heavens—all invite our attention and meditation.*

You who are sighing for the artificial splendor which wealth alone can purchase, for costly paintings, furniture, and dress, listen to the voice of the divine Teacher. He points you to the flower of the field, the simple design of which cannot be equaled by human skill.
He is a lover of the beautiful, and above all that is outwardly attractive He loves beauty of character; He would have us cultivate purity and simplicity, the quiet graces of the flowers.*

We are still using sonlight education ministry for our family worship and are now learning about rocks and minerals in the family bible lessons and one rock we learned about during this week's study was the rock called Amber. We learned that it's taken from the sap of a tree!! We we pretty amazed with that information. What a Creative God we serve.

Little footprints from someone that was cold from playing in the river and was now barefoot.
Oh that we may follow Jesus's footsteps in our daily lives :)

May God be with you until next week
Kindly
Luciana
