Windsor Castle

Today I read about David and his fall, his repentance and God's forgiveness and mercy. David's children were not obedient because of his sins; but there was still hope for him and for you and me:
"Whoever under the reproof of God will humble the soul with confession and repentance, as did David, may be sure that there is hope for him. Whoever will in faith accept God’s promises, will find pardon. The Lord will never cast away one truly repentant soul. He has given this promise: “Let him take hold of My strength, that he may make peace with Me; and he shall make peace with Me.” Isaiah 27:5. “Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and He will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.” Isaiah 55:7. – {PP 726.5}


Today we visited the Windsor Castle
It's a nice place, full of history:
The kids were happy and enjoyed it!
Seeing this castle surely made me remind of David in his Kingdom and also of God and his heavenly Kingdom with all
the angelical hosts that surround God and obey Him and how much more should we that are made His image obey Him. 
Genesis 1:26,27
"26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."

  “ For we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men. “ (1 Corinthians 4:9) I read that verse this morning in a devotional and it made me think of yesterday when Larissa and I were in a boat ride. We are visiting Paris for her very special 15th Birthday and I praise God for the opportunity of being here visiting this country and seeing the beautiful and historical sites and in our boat ride yesterday in the Seine River we were in a big boat with other 600 people were we could either ride downstairs or upstairs in a big deck type outlooking all the historical sites but specially seeing people sitting by the river. A Higher goal...

Today I reached my goal! The 30 days of writing a thankful note daily is finished.  I truly didn't know how to start a blog but how much easier it's to put an end in something. I had everything that I wanted to write in my mind all day long.  And now it's like a blank came....Though writing is a therapy to me, somedays it was becoming an obligation and not a thankful note, and other times I didn't know I could say so much and do so much at once. The recipes I shared, the routine I wrote it down, the pictures taken all was not planned by me but I know that there's someOne Higher than I and Knows the end from the beginning He touched me to write every single post because all things may not happen the ways we plan but it sure happens the way God has planned.  However sometimes I would stay up 'till late and miss the talk with my husband because I got to write down all the things I did throughout my day and this way I didn't miss only the night talking with my h

Spring time is here - April 2022

Spring time is here and again I’m writing about it for another year.  I just can’t keep quiet without saying anything when mornings appear and birds are singing happily everywhere, flowers are blooming and enlightening our eyes and the sun shines till late bringing marvelous sunsets, all showing that God is love!  “The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing  of birds  is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;” Song of Solomon 2:12  And here I leave to you my favorite quote in a devotional for today: “ God's Word and the Creation “Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.” Luke 12:27 .
