For this week then character quality was obedience = the willingness to follow the commands of God or His servants( the parents) Our tadpoles are growing and getting bigger each week. Now we have only 3 since we donated two for a couple of friends that came by our house on Tuesday and we had a nice homeschool meeting, however I took no pictures :( we also made a lactose free, gluten free mozzarella cheese, it was good, of course I forgot the pictures but here's the link with the recipe. The character quality for the week of April 27- May 02 was kindness. We tried to practice the character quality for the week as we did our daily tasks.  We heard a really good story on BBN and there we learned 3 ways that we can show kindness: BEFORE YOU SPEAK ASK THIS: --IS IT TRUE? -- IS IT KIND? -- IS IT NECESSARY? I truly saw difference in my children when we remembered t use this rule. And since we are learning about birds for this quarter we studied about the " Blue-Footed Booby" Isn't it cute! It looks like a paint!  As we learn about birds and their amazing variety we see how little is our knowledge about it and how big is the creativity of our Creator God!  We draw some paper dolls and played all day.  We went to the park and for our surprise we didn't find the baby ducks anymore!!  I asked someone at the park what could have happened with all those baby ducks. Last week's lesson was about King David and the character quality was about being honorable or worthy of respect.  We tried our best to practice honorableness and respect each other.  Daddy went to the big market and bought lots of fruits so we had lots of extra boxes to play with. Here's a little bit of what we've done. The character quality for this week's lesson is Obedience. "Obedience to God's counsel brings peace to our lives"  and it seems like we repeat this character quality many times in our homeschool materials.
